SSRS Online Training

MICROSOFT TOOLS
SSRS ONLINE TRAINING @ VIVANTA IT LABS

An online course designed to make you an expert in SSRS Online Training to learn Report Design, Development, Testing, Tuning and Delivery of Enterprise / Adhoc Reports, Report Builder Options, Snapshots and Email Subscriptions including Power View and Power Pivot Dash Boards.
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is a server-based report generation software system from Microsoft. It is part of suite of Microsoft SQL Server services, including SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services). While SSAS enables users to construct special databases for fast analysis of very large amounts of data, and while SSIS enables users to integrate data from many sources outside Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS enables users to quickly and easily generate reports from Microsoft SQL Server databases.
The SSRS service provides a unique interface into Microsoft Visual Studio so that developers as well as SQL administrators can connect to SQL databases and use SSRS tools to format SQL reports in many complex ways. SSRS also provides a ‘Report Builder’ tool for less technical IT workers to format SQL reports of lesser complexity. SSRS provides a full range of ready-to-use tools and services to help you create, deploy, and manage reports for your organization. Reporting Services includes programming features that enable you to extend and customize your reporting functionality.

SSRS Online TRAINING OVERVIEW

SSRS Training starts by explaining what SQL Server Reporting Services is, how it fits in with the other Microsoft SQL Server tools and gives an example to show how it might be used. You will then be given step-by-step instructions to create projects, reports, data sources and datasets.
You will create various types of report, both static and dynamic, and also parent/child reports that enable users to drill down to detailed information from a summary page. Report items covered include tables, matrices, text boxes, parameters, charts and sparklines (in-line charts).
In SSRS Training you will learn how to create interactive business intelligence reports using SQL Server 2012 Reporting Services, and help facilitate real-time decision making throughout the enterprise. This SSRS Online training is ideal for experienced SQL Server developers, whether you’re new to Reporting Services or upgrading from an earlier version.
What you’ll learn :
  • Use the latest features, including the Power View ad hoc reporting tool
  • Design reports by understanding how your audience accesses and uses data
  • Add interactive features to help end users sort and filter data
  • Create rich data visualization with charts, gauges, indictors, and data maps
  • Configure your report server, provide security, and monitor report contents
  • Use SharePoint or Report Manager to search and access reports online
  • Create a library of report parts that clients can use for ad hoc reporting
  • Build and manage reports using Reporting Services as a development platform
